FAQ for parents

What time does it start?

Every Sunday after our Praise and Worship time, usually at 11am, a Sunday School teacher will stand at the back of the room to take the children to their class. Alternatively, you can accompany your own child.

What time does it finish?

Children will need to be collected from their classes after the morning service, usually ends approx. 12.00 -12.30pm (allow for extra time if there is a guest speaker). Of course, you are most welcome to pop in at any time.

What do the children do?

Every week the Sunday school teachers lead the children in Christian songs, lessons from the Bible and activities that will help the kids remember the lesson. We encourage the children to memorise Bible verses, each lesson has a topic and a specific verse that we ask the children to learn for the following week (there is a sticker chart and prizes as an incentive).

How can I support my children?

Weekly, the lessons are posted online for the parents to help their children studying the memory verse and to see what the lesson was about. See Below.

It may be helpful to keep your child's class teachers informed of any changes in home routines such as overseas trips, death, divorce, illness, visits by relatives, etc. as they may affect children and the teachers can deal with the situation accordingly. On request, our leaders can gladly come and pray for your family, do a home visit or pop in and see your child in hospital should they be admitted.

Every care will be taken to ensure the safety of your child during the Sunday services, but we cannot be held responsible for any accident that may occur. As you are probably well aware, children are naturally active.
